Part 3 : High St and Sandy's Path
Crossing High St, this is the view looking "up" from High St bridge towards Honeybourne and Moreton. The "up" starter signal is in the right foreground and the "down" home signal is in the background, at the point where the single line to Moreton starts.
Moving down St Mary's Road and onto the Sandy's Path at the end of the road, this is the remains of the bridge that carried the LMS line from Evesham to Redditch. Some of the trackbed remains to the north, at least as far as Evesham By-pass.
This is the view anyone looking towards the station would have had during the 1950's, with the intact bridge carrying the LMS line over the GWR line ( John Kyte).
