I have installed a pop-up navigation bar on the left which will take you deeper into the site (please use the email link if you experience problems). Pages containing photographs will be marked with an '*'.

The photographs on this are the work of either myself or my father, and copyrighted as such. I have indicated my father's photographs as such; all others are mine.

Although the Vale of Evesham is the area between Bredon Hill and the Cotswolds, I have taken a more generous approach to the area involved. The site also covers the area from Barnt Green in the north to Cheltenham in the south and Worcester Shrub Hill in the West to Moreton-in-the-Marsh in the east. I am aware of the presence of the Vale of Evesham Light Railway and intend to include it on the site in the near future.

Credit must also go to my father, Mr John Kyte (who I consider to be the co-author of this site), who has granted me use of his collection of books on the subject, his memories of growing up next to the railway lines in Evesham, some of which have now been published in his own words on the site, and most recently, a few photographs which have come to light.
